Search engine optimization is perhaps the most critical aspect of your website.  You can have the most impressive, attractive and informative website in your market, but it’s useless if your customers (or potential customers) can’t find it.  Each website we design includes search engine optimization (SEO), we also offer this service for existing websites. Here is a brief outline of our search engine optimization service (we could never reveal all of our little Search Engine Tricks).

Keyword Selection Process

The first thing we do is identify some keywords to use, these would be keyw0rds your customers would use to find your website.  Once that list has been established, we dig in and research the keywords to find out how many times they were used last month on major search engines and what similar words or phrases were used to accomplish the same search results.

Seamless Integration Into Content

Once your keywords have been researched and identified, we integrate them into your website, the term I love to use is seamless integration.  There is a specific formula we use, your keywords must be a specific percentage of your overall content.  Your keywords must be present in the page title, page description, overall content and links.  Another, quite critical and often overseen technique would be to establish incoming links with the same keywords.

Search Engine Submission And Link Building

Once everything is in place, we use a couple more of our “secret tricks” to build up those incoming links (with applicable keywords) and finally, we submit a sitemap of your website and/or web pages to the three major search engines, Google, MSN (Bing) and Yahoo.

Hurry Up And Wait

A brand new website takes about one month to be recognized by the Search Engines, pre-existing websites tend to be much faster.  At first, you will see your site land a few pages out, once you see them there, they will quickly work their way into the first page.
